FLOTILLA-CHARTER:

The Flotilla service is a new product, which has been developed exclusively for our customers for season 2020!

Choosing a Flotilla trip allows you to spend your holiday on a houseboat in total autonomy but still being able to count on the constant supervision of a "Group Leader" which will be selected by our partner. This leader also acts as an adviser and technical assistant on site and will be immediately available. The flotilla consists of a maximum of 4 boats and the Group Leader lives and leads one of them. He is an expert of the cruise area and knows the secrets of the lagoons and can therefore quickly provide assistance and suggestions.

FLOTILLA CHARACTERISTICS
The Flotilla is not a group cruise: you book your boat, for you, your family and your friends at normal market prices and in addition you have the possibility to follow (to a greater or lesser extent) the Leader’s boat and to enjoy the advantages described above. The Flotilla is flexible: the itinerary set by the Leader will probably be the best possible compromise between attractions to visit and the time available but you are not obliged to follow it in its entirety. You can choose to space out your itinerary and cruise at your own pace, always able to count on the local contact person to deal with any requests. Everyone can decide for themselves whether to dine on board or at a restaurant (your Leader has always great suggestions!), whether to choose to visit a museum or enjoy a relaxing extra nap. 

If you join the flotilla then it is because you want to live independently and, with the Leader’s help, get the most out of your vacation experience: avoiding overcrowded areas,  discovering the most beautiful and hidden places & much more!

HOW TO BOOK

For the 2020 season, three Flotilla departures (max. 4 boats each) have been planned, based on the Venice Lagoon itinerary:

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: boat rental, sheets and towels, on-site technical assistance from the Group Leader, travel insurance, our partners private mooring areas in the Venice lagoon;

EXCLUDED FROM THE PRICE: non-compulsory extras (e.g. bicycles, barbecue, final cleaning fee, other), extra Pack (not mandatory), fuel consumption (mandatory), damage deposit as described in the Rental Conditions (mandatory);

CABIN CHARTER:

Uniquely in Europe, we offer the possibility of renting a cabin aboard one of our partners houseboats! Experience an exciting sailing adventure in the magical scenery of the Venice Lagoon!

If you are travelling alone or in a couple, choose the cabin charter option and you won’t have to bear the cost of the entire boat because it will split with other single travelers who have opted for the same deal. The spirit of the holiday remains the same as always: it’s an active experience, the boat is guided and moored together with other travelers, all the typical activities of a houseboat holiday are carried out independently, but in addition you share the experience with new friends. A Group Leader selected by our partner will always be on board and provides assistance, especially if travelers are lacking marine experience. There will also be the chance to receive suggestions for the best spots to stop, restaurants with the best local dishes and the most exciting shore excursions.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CABIN CHARTER DEAL
This is not a hotel vacation and retains the characteristics of boat life. The boat may have 2 or 3 bookable cabins at most, and therefore there can be from 2 to 6 passengers on board, in addition to the Group Leader. It is therefore not a large group but an almost individual experience. There is no obligation to participate in shared group activities and everyone will be free to occupy their time as they see fit. Everyone can choose whether to dine on board or book their own restaurant, and whether to visit a museum or relax by reading a book with a steaming cup of coffee.

Relaxation, adventure, dynamism and a certain amount of informality are the basis of this immersive experience on board the best river yachts equipped with numerous comforts.

Only one boat will be dedicated to this service, therefore availability is limited to 2/3 cabins. Hurry up and  contact us so ad don't miss this chance!

INCLUDED IN THE PRICE: lease of the cabin, fuel consumption, final cleaning fee, supply of sheets and towels, domestic water consumption, soft B&B service

EXCLUDED FROM THE PRICE: no catering service on board; lunch and dinner are not arranged, travel costs to and from the boarding base, individual personal costs incurred during the holiday period;
